Sutton Hoo Spoon

This is a copy of one of the pair of spoons found at Sutton Hoo, now in the British Museum. Byzantine in design, it is made of 5 separate pieces of silver. The original pair were thought to relate to a conversion to Christianity, since they were stamped 'Saulus' and 'Paulus' in Greek.
